Michael has been in the industry for over 25 years. He offers slightly outside the box approachable comfort foods. Growing up in an Italian family in suburban New Jersey with both parents that cooked, he grew his love for food from an early age. Since then, with no formal schooling, he started off as a dish washer, then graduated to prep, to line and through the ranks with roles as Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director. He has a background in luxury Inn's, Private Country Clubs and private chef work, catering and restaurant consulting. He opened up the famed 'The Kitchen' in the seacoast of New Hampshire to mimic delis from the tri-state area where they grew up. Since then and three restaurants later, he settled with his wife and three boys on a farm in Salisbury, NH. His passion for food, and amazing long-time dedicated staff and steering away from the "average food" when it comes to catering has made Portsmouth Catering the success it is today.
